Morgan Sampson was born and raised in the Southeastern United States, where she gained a love for folklore, myth, and legend. When not writing, she works as an archaeologist and LiDAR technician.
Her writing mainly lives in the realm of gothic horror and dark fantasy, with strong historic and folkloric influences. Her style leans toward the creepy, unsettling, and atmospheric.
In her free time she enjoys learning languages, sewing, and generally causing chaos.
